Automation Overview

The Automation tab takes you directly to the part where you can build your chatbot and set up your main menu, keywords, custom fields, and tags in your flows.

Automation

The Automation tab is the section that allows you to build your chatbots. Basically, make sure your flows have the right tags, custom fields, or global fields setup. It’s also the place you want to be if you want to simply Import a Chatbot from another page.

Flows

The flow tab lets you access the Flows Manager where you manage and build your chatbot. This is also where you can see the list of flows/bots you have successfully created.

AI Triggers

The AI Triggers tab lets you access the list of keywords set up within your flows. Keywords that fire your message inside Messenger. A chatbot flow or a message is triggered every time a subscriber types in any keyword specified in the Keywords field.

The Main Menu is the tool you use to enable, create and set up your main menus within Messenger. This basically allows your subscribers to access some of your flows directly by simply clicking on the menu buttons.

Custom Fields

Custom Fields allow you to save the responses or capture information as a unique value for each of your subscribers. They can also be used as air variables (like Full Name, Location, etc.).

Global Fields

Global Fields allows you to store chatbot data and set values depending on your subscriber’s actions. They look like Custom Fields but can store values that are related to your chatbot, i.e.: texts, numbers, formulas, dates, and time.

Tags

It's an excellent way to segment the audience and allow you to better connect with your audience and offer the products they want.

Recurring Notifications

It allows you to send either daily, weekly, or monthly messages for use cases (e.g., webinar reminders, subscription reminders, horoscope, etc.) where someone has explicitly agreed to receive these messages.

Integrations

By integrating Auto Responders, Webinar platforms, channels, and capturing email addresses now have another way to communicate with your subscriber. It’s a true and easy way to make the most out of your current channels.

Personas

Personas API enables you to introduce a "virtual" persona into the chat, or thread if you will. This persona may be backed by a human agent or a bot. This is useful for a variety of use cases, such as customer care, where the bot needs a way to represent passing the customer to a customer care representative.

How To Access Automation?

The Automation Pages can be accessed on Page Level. You navigate from Account Level (where you see all your added pages) to the page of your choice by clicking on the cog icon. Once inside the Dashboard of your Page, click on the “Automation” menu item in the left navigation bar.
